another zippora seven
australian models are so kickass right now.
and talking of australia.... me and my boyfriend are thinking of travelling to australia or new zealand for 6 months or so. not to backpack but have a 'working holiday'. we want to stay in a beach town thats relatively near a city, so it still has fashion, cool bars but has an awesome laid back vibe.
can anyone hit me up with some places to look into in either australia or new zealand.
Gorgeous pic.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I would love to see Australia...or New Zealand. i've heard in New Zealand, you can literally snowboard and surf in the SAME day!! Insane! It'd be so fun!

I am from Aus and I would say the best place for laid back beachiness is Byron Bay.
ReplyDeleteGreat Barrier Reef is absolutely stunning so if you get a chance you have to visit.
Bondi in Sydney and definately Noosa on the sunshine coast.
St Kilda in Melbourne is also pretty laid back.
contact me if you need info on where to stay etc and i can help you out.
good luck

I'm also an Australian. Good choice coming here! During your travels I'd stick to the East Coast (QLD, NSW, VIC). I live in QLD on the Sunshine Coast which is absolutely beautiful. Byron Bay would be ideal for what you're looking for. It's hours away from the nearest city though. Bondi and Noosa Beach are also great, but they are popular tourist destinations and very upmarket. Do some research around South-East Queesland and Northern NSW - you can't go wrong in these areas!
ReplyDeleteAustralia is awesome, I'm an aussie, there is very few places that are crap so pretty much anywhere you go i'm sure you'll enjoy yourself and love it!
ReplyDeletethanks guys!!! im checking out the places you advised

Ohhh yes! Brisbane is a great city (where I'm from) and the most amazing beaches along the East Coast are 40mins away south, and 1.5hrs away north. Can't beat that. I've travelled through all the major cities of Aus and I preferr Brisbane the best. Perfect climate and it's a pretty relaxed city in terms of not feeling overwhelmed by NY. Plus Byron Bay is two hours drive south. Email me if you need any info xx
ReplyDeleteI've recently relocated to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast, and it's wonderful! But if you want a beach town, try alexandra heads, coolum beach & perigian, for lazy towns an hours drive north of Brisbane city!
ReplyDeleteHey thanks for your post comments! Your blog is awesome
ReplyDeleteI agree- Byron is a great place just to hang out, surf, chill. There is an awesome hippy vibe as well and some cool shops, bars, restaurants etcccc

Hey Im from NZ which is actually where Zippora is from, not Oz but anyway if you come to NZ go in Summer, no other time it will be a downer. NZ is quite magical in Summer, you should stay on the east coast, check out Mt Maunganui or Paihia...everyone leaves the cities during summer...everyone is so laid back and its all bbqs and swimming everyday. If you want somewhere more tourist-y u should check out Queenstown..beautiful anytime:)..hope that helps
